PAMELA FLUTIE, PRESIDENT OF CENTRAL VALLEY TRANSCRIPTION
I have been in the medical transcription field for over 13 years. I started out working for a small hospital and then subcontracting work from national transcription companies doing acute care, ER/Trauma, Child Development, Speech Pathology, Neontal ICU, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, etc. Eventually, I started my own company so that I could provide a more personalized quality of service to clients. I worked with a large outpatient surgery center and many speciality fields to include neurosurgery, neurology, pain management, plastic surgery, etc. I branched out into the medical-legal field (Workers' Compensation) and the veterinary specialty fields in early 2003. Because of my love for and involvement with animals, I have found the veterinary transcription field to be the most interesting and it has become my favorite field to work with. I enjoy working with our veterinary clients and introducing them to our digital dictation and transcription, which is still relatively new in the veterinary field! Our goal is to become and remain the BEST veterinary transcription provider by giving great service, maintaining the "personal" touch, and providing the highest quality reports available.
